Our Story & Quest
Many have called this Island Nation the next Asian tiger and a launching pad for international influence because it is so strategically located.
Just a short airplane trip away is the largest populated nation in the world.. Right next door is the largest Muslim nation in the world.. Every way you look at it (up, down, to the left, to the right) are all the nations in the 10/40 Window. Do you realize that the distance to Bangladesh is similar to a flight from San Francisco to Chicago or to China is as short as going from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
Help build this launching pad for travel and understanding to Asia and beyond.
Our location is in one of the most amazing spots in the world. Just an hour and half south from the capitol our offices are located just back from the ridge of a huge ancient caldera (boiling pot) which is now filled with water and called Taal Lake. In the center of this miles-wide giant lake is a volcano island - supporting more that 40 miniature active volcanos. They call it the smallest yet most deadly volcano in the world.
We have worked together in the Philippines for more than 17 years. Originally from Tagaytay (Mitzu) and David from California began on the island of Occidental Mindoro with programs for children and the youth of the families of village farmers and fishers. Over the years they have organized medical / dental missions, malnourished children programs, school-supplies for numerous villages, mountain tribal projects, school repair, training courses and much more.
Now many Health Recovery Children's Centers are operating in schools and squatter areas returning malnourished kids to health.
Now we are permanently in Tagaytay to expand setup of the FMI Asia-Pacific Center with our partner Cordially Yours Travel Inc. USA which will facilitate travel based on mutual respect and understanding for all the cultures of Asia and the world. We desire a world based on mutual appreciation for all peoples. Travel can open your eyes and one trip can change your whole life and perspective.
Like Mark Twain said: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”
Mitzu's extensive experience in administration and all manner of operational logistics has prepared her for this multi-faceted work. David's international experience in several nations including Korea, China, Russia, Philippines and elsewhere helps him to set the vision and direction for the Tagaytay operations. Mitzu's training in the medical field, financial and managerial experience enables her to care for a wide-scope of activities. And David's work with the United Nations Association and other international organizations plus his education in Theology, Political Science/Int'l Relations and MBA from Moscow, Russia give him the scope to guide this international venture of understanding. We have one daughter Natalie who is following in our footsteps even though she is young.
